4th Bravehearts Cup results out

UPCOMING tae kwon do jins and wushu players took time out to hone their skills in the recently concluded Bravehearts Cup Vl Taekwondo and Wushu Competition at the BSU gym.
Close to 50 gold medals were at stake during the competition organized by the Bravehearts Martial Arts Institute.
“This is a competition primarily intended for beginners (summer enrollees) who want to test their skills in forms (poomsae) and in sparring (Kyurugi) and an avenue for our summer enrollees to show some of the skills that they learned from us as they develop their confidence and at the same time, having fun,” said event organizer Danrey Velo.
Leading the gold medalist in the wushu competition are Brendan Mangaoili, Jomar Balilis, Charisse Adi, George Claydyke Lusadan, Angelli Laongan, Jollyver Nictao, and Rhonan Havore.
In the wushu pair event, gold medalist include Jomar Balilis and Keiffer Mangaoili, the tandem of Charisse Adi and George Clydyke Lusadan, the pair of Mylene Kate Batane and enrico Rafael Laogan.
In the white belt sparring of the tae kwon do competitions, gold medalist are Hanz Gabriel Nape-ek (6-8 years old A),Nicogarth Tiotioen (6-8 years old B), Clifton Salimbuat (8-9 years old), Pheony Angeli Quezon (8-9 years old girls), Lemar Dayaoen (10-12 years old), Kyle Laurence Suyam (10-12 years old A), Gringo Salimbuat (10-12 years old B) and Myca Panilab for the 10-12 years old girls.

Pheby Angeli Quezon led the gold winners in the individual poomsae category together with Nathaniel Calapardo, Liberty Agcopra, Owen Cumitag, and Dave Andrew Makinano with Tiffany Aoyong, Nicogarth Tiotioen, Raven Eduarte, Fritzie Villaba, Nathaniel Panilas, John Carlo Aguila, and Xochi Dane Penchan.
